Today, I’m excited to share some of my top tips and favorite products for achieving a flawless everyday makeup look. Whether you’re headed to work, brunch, or just out and about, these essentials will keep you looking fresh and fabulous with minimal effort. Please keep in mind that not all products are one size fits all, so if you already have products you like, don’t mess up a good thing. If you don’t, these are some of my favorite products and tips to try. Let’s get into it!

1. Hydrate and Prime

First things first, always start with a good moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated throughout the day. One of my favorites is the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base. It’s rich and luxurious, creating the perfect base for your makeup.

Next, apply a primer to smooth out your skin. The E.L.F. Power Grip Primer is a great dupe for the Milk Hydro Grip Primer and is amazing for minimizing pores and ensuring your makeup lasts all day.

2. Flawless Base

I’m loving the trend of mixing a foundation with a glowy-fluid filter. The E.L.F. Halo Glow Liquid Filter is a perfect dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter. I put this on my forehead, cheekbones, nose and chin and don’t blend it in until I blend my foundation.

For foundation, I always recommend something lightweight and buildable. The NARS Light Reflecting Foundation is fantastic for an everyday look. It gives your skin a natural, radiant finish without feeling heavy. Apply it with a damp beauty sponge for that seamless, airbrushed effect.

3. Conceal and Brighten

To tackle any under-eye circles or blemishes, a good concealer is a must. The NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer is my go-to. It provides excellent coverage and blends effortlessly. Dab a little under your eyes and on any spots, then blend out with your sponge or fingertips.

4. Underpaint (sort of)

I’ve found that most women feel that their makeup just doesn’t last through a long day. They apply it in the morning and by 5pm all the color they added is gone. To prevent this, I add liquid and cream color to my face and then set with powdered colors.

I’m not a huge fan of contouring, but I do like to add a sun-kissed look to the face (especially in summer) and my favorite product for that is the Rose Inc Solar Infusion Moisturizing Cream Bronzer. I apply it with a small brush to the areas of my face that would naturally become sun-kissed.

I’m also really loving a naturally flushed look and I get that with the E.L.F. Halo Glow Blush Beauty Wand which (you guessed it) is an exact dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand. It’s like if blush and highlighter had a baby. I apply it to my cheekbones and blend it with a small brush and dab a bit on the bridge of my nose and chin.

5. Set and Forget

This step is the secret sauce. After applying all my cream and liquid products, I douce my face in setting spray BEFORE powdering. The Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter is perfect for a natural, luminous finish.

To ensure your makeup stays put all day, lightly set your makeup with a setting powder. The Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder is a staple in my kit. It sets your makeup without looking cakey and helps control any excess oil. I use it strategically along my jaw line, around my nose and in the center of my forehead with a Powder Puff. I don’t want to look too matte or too shiny, I’m just controlling shine in the areas I don’t want it. I stay away from my under eye area because in my experience setting your under eyes (as you age) is what makes your makeup look cakey and calls attention to fine lines.

6. Add Some MORE Color

After you’ve set strategic areas with pressed powder, you’re going to set other areas with colored powders. For a natural, everyday look, a touch of blush and bronzer can make all the difference. The Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Bronzer adds the perfect sun-kissed glow, while the NARS Blush in Orgasm gives your cheeks a lovely, peachy flush. If you want to go with a rosier, more sun-kissed look, I love Dior Backstage Rosy Glow Blush.

I also like to highlight certain areas, but please keep in mind, every face is different and if you have areas with more texture (wrinkles, acne scarring, etc.) you don’t want to highlight those areas. I usually hit the tops of my cheekbones and in the inner corner of my eye (Carmindy on “What Not To Wear” changed my life forever with this tip, if you know you know). My favorite highlighter right now is the Dior Backstage Glow Face Palette because it gives you so many options to blend together and play with to match lots of different skin tones.

6. Eyes that Pop

A simple eye look is all you need for everyday wear. Start by defining your brows with the Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow+ Volumizing Eyebrow Gel. Then, sweep a neutral eyeshadow across your lids—Tare Tartlette In Bloom Palette is a versatile palette that works for everyone. Finish with a few coats of Lancôme Lash Idôle Lash-Lifting & Volumizing Mascara for long, fluttery lashes.

7. Luscious Lips

Keep your lips looking fresh and hydrated with a tinted lip balm or a subtle lipstick. The Dior Addict Lip Sugar Scrub is a great everyday nude and the scrubbiness is truly addicting. If you prefer a bit more color, try a lip oil like the E.L.F. Glow Reviver Lip Oil is perfect for a hint of color and lots of moisture.
